Ellen has been programming since 1996 and moved from desktop programming (for PC software) to web site design and programming in 1999. Ellen started Vermont Web Programmers (VWP) in 2001, which grew to include more than 75 customers all over the United States.
In December 2007 she sold VWP, and started a new company, Emerson Web Programming, which continues to provide web site design and programming services to small and medium sized businesses and organizations.
